Privacy Collection Notice
Guest voting — when you vote without a Vottee account
JTC Software Pty Ltd ('we', 'us' or 'our') collects personal information about you in order to process your guest vote. We collect this information to provide you with our services and to comply with our legal obligations under Australian consumer law and taxation requirements, and for purposes otherwise set out in our Privacy Policy.
The information you provide will be collected by or on behalf of us and may be disclosed to third parties that help us deliver our services (including information technology suppliers, communication suppliers and our business partners) or as required by law. If you do not provide this information, we may not be able to provide all our products and services to you.
Our Privacy Policy explains:
- how we store and use, and how you may access and correct your personal information;
- how you can lodge a complaint regarding the handling of your personal information; and
- how we will handle any complaint.

By providing your personal information to us, you consent to the collection, use, storage and disclosure of that information as described in the Privacy Policy and this collection notice.
When you vote as a guest
We collect your name and email to record your vote and enforce one vote per poll (or per round for round-based polls).
If you opt in to reminders after voting, we use your details to email you when voting opens or closes. You can unsubscribe per poll at any time; re-subscribing requires the poll admin.
We may save your name and email in your browser (local storage) on this device so you do not have to re-enter them next time. We do not use your email to let others view your votes on a public page.
