Guest voting privacy notice

When you vote without a Vottee account

Snowyden Software (JTC Software Pty Ltd) collects your name and email when you vote as a guest. This notice summarises how we handle that information. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

What we collect and why

We collect your name and email to verify your identity and record your vote. We also collect an age attestation (that you are at least 16, or have parent or guardian permission). If you opt in to reminders, we may email you when voting opens or closes for that poll. If you enable notifications in the Vottee app, we store a device push token against that poll so we can send voting-open and voting-closed alerts. We may save your name and email in your browser (local storage) on this device so you do not have to re-enter them next time. Public vote pages may also use bot-protection checks. We do not display advertisements on vote pages.

Our Privacy Policy explains:

how we store and use your information, and how you may access and correct it (access and correction);
how you can lodge a complaint (complaints); and
how we will handle any complaint (contact us).
