How to permanently delete your account in the Vottee app
You can delete your Vottee account yourself from Settings in the web application or the mobile app. Account deletion is permanent and removes your profile and the polls you own.
Steps to delete your account
- Open Vottee and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Go to Settings.
- Scroll to the Delete account section.
- Tap or click Delete account and follow the confirmation prompts. You will need to type DELETE to confirm.
Once confirmed, your account is deleted and you will be signed out.
What is deleted
- Your Vottee account and profile
- Polls you own and their associated poll data
- Collaborator access you have on other people's polls
Some information may be retained where required by law or for legitimate compliance, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or record-keeping purposes, as described in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Subscriptions and billing
Deleting your Vottee account does not automatically cancel a Premium subscription purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play. If you subscribed on iOS or Android, cancel that subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings as well.
Web subscriptions managed through Stripe can be cancelled from Premium settings before you delete your account, or you can contact us for help.
